Social Tennis....

Organised social tennis on the weekend is held on Saturday afternoons starting at 2pm and goes to 5.30pm, during which time there is a short break for afternoon tea. The bar is open from 5pm onwards to enable members and visitors to socialise and enjoy a post-game drink or two. Grass court season runs from October until July. Play over the winter season takes place on the synthetic grass courts and the hard courts.

For those with children between 3 and 12 years of age, child-minding is available on Saturday afternoons from 2pm until the finish of organised social tennis for the day. The cost is $5 for the first child and an extra $2 for each additional child. There is also a playground for children up to 12 years of age.

Mid-week ladies' social tennis takes place on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from about 8 am to about 11.30am.

Junior Club is on Friday afternoons from 4pm until 6pm with a sausage sizzle afterwards.

Members are of course free to organise their own social tennis at any time all the year round. There is a small fee of $5 per hour for members to play at night to cover the cost of the lights. Non members may hire the courts for a fee of $15 per hour.
